From the East
Follow the M62 westbound until junction 24, there leaving to join the A629. At Ainley Top Roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A629 (signposted Huddersfield). Continue ahead into Huddersfield, bearing left onto New North Road approximately 2 miles after passing the BP service station. Shortly after, take the right hand lane (signposted Ring Road, Town Centre, Oldham) and then bear left onto Fitzwilliam Street. After this, turn right onto Castlegate, joining the A62. At traffic lights approximately 1⁄2 a mile later turn right onto the A616 (signposted Holmfirth, Sheffield). Continue ahead on A616 until reaching Brockholes.
From the West
Follow the M62 eastbound, leaving at junction 23 to join the A640. Follow the A640 into Huddersfield, joining the A62 briefly at Castlegate. After this, turn right onto Castlegate, joining the A62. At traffic lights approximately 1⁄2 a mile later turn right onto the A616 (signposted Holmfirth, Sheffield). Continue ahead on A616 until reaching Brockholes.
